Kathy turns 65 today. She has a huge amount of spunk, skill and talent. She has accomplished an incredible amount in her life and has raised five amazing children, each unique, talented and making their own mark in the world.

She is the world's best mother-in-law. I love her for all the reasons mentioned above, but the reason I love her most, is because of the way she loves me. She:

• trusts me and my abilities as a mother and wife
• respects me and my opinions
  
• loves Owen, spends time with him and takes an active part in raising and love him
• believes in me
• loves me as her own
